In your FACE

I finally succumbed to the juggernaut that is Facebook.

Yes, I signed up. For work research purposes… I don’t plan on spending much time there. It’s no Ravelry!

Perhaps it was a little too much Web 2.0 at SXSWi this past week. Perhaps it was just inevitable.

Feel free to ignore my friend-vitation is I spammed your inbox.

Also, feel free to sing the praises of this application, ’cause I just don’t get it.

Remember when it was all UNIX chat rooms, USENET groups and IRC?

Facebook is a waste of space, but I do have to admit that it helped me to re-find a friend who I lost contact with (email changed). I still want to be your friend though… 😉

I like Facebook, not as much as Ravelry, but it’s nice for my non crafty friends and to me it’s better than myspace.

Hi there Stephen! It’s too bad I didn’t get to meet the knitters down the way at SXSW, but I’m glad you found yourself in my picture!

I’m with Kari, facebook’s for the non-crafty friends! I also remember unix, usenet, irc and gopher holes, too. Not many people remember the time before the www, though!

Just found you via Ravelry via your podcast via Ravelry…

I have to admit, I do not love facebook. I’m still trying to figure out its purpose is other than to find friends. Once you find them, then what? I’m so confused!
